NHTSA said it notified Hyundai in September that a occupant of a 2021 Hyundai Elantra  suffered a leg injury after the driver's seatbelt exploded.

Hyundai will notify owners via mail by July 15, the NHTSA said. The company is still investigating the root cause of the issue.

NHTSA said owners who  brought  their vehicles in during the previous four  recalls will have to have their vehicles serviced again.
